I want it Now!

There are so many pretty clothes out there right now, here are a few from American Gold, tba and Winter Kate, that I want to add to my closet.

The SS 2011 American Gold line. I like that their inspired by indian summers, sleeping under the stars at joshua tree and flea markets. I'm a sucker for American Gold, here are my favorites.

Another part of me loves and secretly wants to be Wendy Darling, which is what tba-to be adored is all about.
These pieces are from the Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, except for the sofia dress which is from a few collections back, but is absolutely gorgeous. I love peter pan collars, I would buy a an empty can of coca-cola if it was wearing a peter pan collar.

Last is the Winter Kate opy jacket that I had my hands on, but decided not to buy. It was on sale!!!
Now, I regret my decision, but it's sold out everywhere except for ebay where it's going for $300. Ugh! I'll wait a few months and maybe prices will go down, pretty please?

A lost love, Jovovich-Hawk

My favorite designers are the now long gone Jovovich-Hawk. Once I got my first "real" job I starte buying pieces here and there. I love their prairie/disco/boho/hippie/flapper vibe, it's very different from the stuff thats out there. Their pieces are whimsical and a bit costume-y, that's what I loved.

This Dress took me 3 years of lusting to finally find and acquire. Now, I just have to get it a little taken in. I really cannot wait to wear it. I don't really have anywhere to wear it to in the next week, so I guess grocery shopping at trader joes will have to do.

I just got this one. It's made of wool and the weather in California does not warrant wool other than (maybe) December-February. So we'll see when I wear this. This is another piece I need to take in.

At first they said they would put the brand on hiatus, but looks like it's most likely been put to bed. But maybe just maybe milla and carmen can come together after making movies and taking pictures and keep making beautiful clothes that I can spend my money on. Until then, I'll keep hunting on ebay.

Taxes bite.

So today my boyfriend was doing my taxes when he tells me that there might be some sort of mistake, that I owe the government $200. How is the even possible!? I was expecting to get a return of at least $600, not pay the government.  I have a decent job, and decent pay, nothing extravagent, I make enough to maintain myself.  Any way there go my dreams of shopping for Jovovich-Hawk dresses on Net-a-Porter. Here are the pieces I have been eying. 

I have also been thinking about getting my hair lightend and possibly getting bangs. I am getting my hair lightend tomorrow, but and holding off on the bangs until this sunday once I have thought about it for a while and am capable of making an informed decision.
