I just got the Free People August 2011 catalog in the mail and I have to say the pictures are adorable. This months catalog was photographed in Venice by Guy Aroch. I just can't get enough of these dreamy, romantic pictures. I always look forward to my monthly free people catalog, because it's styled and photographed so beautifully. The cat masquerade picture is my favorite, even though I'm afraid of cats.

Clouds Up
It's no secret that I'm petrified of the ferris wheel, but my huge fear only intensifies my love of them. Love, in the sense that I love their aesthetic, their colors and their continuous round movement. I hope that this summer I can get over my fear and ride the ferris wheel once agin. Any who, here are some more pictures of the ferris wheel at that San Diego County fair.

Wild Like a Fox
The Wildfox Couture Fall 2011 lookbook is here and I love every single look. Here's what they were going for "Fall 2011 is inspired by Anita Pallenberg, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Rock concerts, 1970s magazines and clothes, soft, oversized cardigans and T shirts, stolen rock boyfriends clothes and beautiful, long flowy 70's dresses." It was really hard not to upload the whole lookbook on here, trust me there could have been many more pictures. I hope mimic some of these looks in the near future. I can't get enough of the lighting and the softness of the pictures. I want to live in them.

The Fair is a Veritable Smorgasbord
Ever since going to the fair earlier this week I have not been able to get that Charlotte's Web song out of my head. You know the one the goose sings, to convince Templeton the rat to go to the fair. I had to watch the clip of the song on youtube and now I'm singing the whole song over and over in my head. So, we went to the San Diego County fair on Friday and although I didn't ride any rides (I'm too scared). I did stuff my face, corn dogs, cherry lemonade, ice cream in a waffle cone...chocolate covered bacon. I was a tad disappointed in the chocolate covered bacon. I thought they would take a slab of bacon and dip it in chocolate, but the chocolate to bacon ration was all wrong, too much chocolate, not enough bacon. It just ended up tasting like salty chocolate. Although I didn't ride the rides I took tons of pictures of them, especially the ferris wheel. The ferris wheel terrifies me, but I find it so visually entrancing. I rode a ferris wheel once a while back, I started to have a panic attack and had to be taken off after the first turn. I think It's time for a second attempt, I plan to go to the Ventura County Fair in early August and once again try to conquer my fear. Anyway, I went a little picture crazy, but I love all the colors at the fair, so I couldn't help myself.

...And now the pics I took with my phone.
(Well Except for this one. I couldn't have taken this picture.)
