Eating Out...Prep Kitchen

This past Sunday we decided to go back to Little Italy and check out Prep Kitchen. Which we had spotted while we were on our walk last week. I didn't know much about it other than that I loved their huge corner window. I went online and found out that they have a $3.50 tapas happy hour. Only that when it came to drinks their happy hour left much to be desired, they only offer a $5 glass of sangria, no beer, no liquor. Don't get me wrong, their sangria was good, but you can't call that a happy hour. Now, their tapas on the other had were absolutely yummy. We had (in order of yumminess) the patatas bravas (crunchy potato chunks with spicy sauce), bacon wrapped dates (just wow), brussel sprouts with bacon and walnuts, the pork Rillettes and the clams... yeah we were hungry. For dessert we had the banana bread pudding a la mode, this was without a doubt the most delicious bread pudding I have ever had, in fact it was one of the most delicious desserts I've have period. We can't wait to go back and actually have dinner there, they gave us a coupon for free dessert on our next visit (so, yeah were coming back). _DSC0052 IMG_1117 IMG_1093 IMG_1088 IMG_1083 IMG_1089 _DSC0098 _DSC0100 _DSC0110 _DSC0102 IMG_1110 The deliciously decadent banana bread pudding IMG_1108 IMG_1120
